So many notes, no many reviews, so many different perspectives on this perfume, what comes about more is that its an aldehyde, white floral, slightly sweet perfume with green and fresh feelings, one that is soapy and floral. Throughout wear, this smells powdery and dry, just the sort of scent I love. The first thing to note is that you can smell as well as taste this fragrance. This is a beauty in its own right. The other trend which has arisen over the past couple of years is something I am enjoying; floral gourmands. To me this is a classic fragrance-not old fashioned, a timeless feminine scent. I definitely see the similarity to Arpege, but this is a little lighter and less sweet, very pretty flowers in aldehydes sort of fragrance, superbly old fashioned. It opens with a blast of aldehydes, then comes the powerful civet note, within an hour it settles into a pleasant narcissus scent maybe with some hiacynt and carnation.
