Hi Hayley, the recipe is for making multiple pizzas. Secondly, I use mozzarella light from lidl and also mix in WW small amount of cheese is this okay? If you want to double the size it's only an extra six syns!!! Can you only use bread packet mixes or can you simply make a wholemeal pizza Base? If you cook it first don't cook it all the way though, just part way and then finish as you defrost (like one of the frozen pizzas you buy! I made a pizza sauce from passata, onions, mixed herbs and garlic. laggy! Managed to get 10 balls for the freezer, the first time I had it was on a sp day so I doubled the amount of dough but was just as good having half the amount I just make sure I roll it as thin as I can! Is it mentions to only rise during the in bowl with wrapper and cloth Cotherstone stage? The Healthy B allowance is a key element of the slimming world plan, it contributes to our fibre intake and helps us feel full. Sorry but I've never frozen dough before!!! Thanks Darlene, hope it turned out OK for you! I still haven't been brave enough to try that cauliflower based pizza recipe so hopefully this means I won't have to! Place the dough back in the bowl, and cover the bowl with cling film or a damp towel. Tip the dough back out on to the surface and knead for another minute or so, and then portion it into 60g sections. The best way to do this is to roll using a rolling pin at first, and then stretch the pizza base using your hands. I'm really pleased you enjoyed the pizza and I very much hope that you enjoy the rest of my recipes. xx, Thank you so much, I will definitely be trying this out, I miss a bit of pizza.... They aren't therefore able to officially say that homemade versions are HexB however it's up to you! And nowhere in the healthy extra b choice part of my book does it say that any kind of flour can be used. Mine also turned out like a thin tortilla round the edges and was totally soggy and under cooked where there was sauce ? I freeze as dough but you could do either depending on what is easiest for you. I mentioned it in Group this eve and nobody knew about the bread mixes being an Hex B. I had to post a link to here on our group Facebook page as lots of people want to make it now. Excited to try this next week - am making for friends so keeping my fingers crossed it goes ok! Do this for about 5 to 10 minutes. I proved it properly and it rose then before either knocked it back and rolled it out...any ideas??? When freezing the extra portions of bread mix, do I cook 1st or freeze as dough? On the end it was rather thin. It's due to the levels of fibre used in them and this being enough to make them qualify for your HexB. The only problem is that without lots of trail and error you don't know how much dough would make 60g cooked...it's likely to be about 63g of wet dough but without trying lots of different bases (without toppings) I wouldn't know. You may have rolled it out too thin which is the only other thing I can think of. Thanks for sharing x. Hello! Had it twice since Saturday!! The edges normally only rise a little in the oven, any area with sauce or toppings won't really rise but the edges should go up a tiny bit at least! Hope that helps! Hi Ann, sorry that's meant to say HexA for Mozzarella! It is quite a thin pizza, it often will puff up slightly in the oven around the bits without any topping on, but once it gets too hot the yeast dies so won't rise any more. Using a rolling pin, and more of your leftover bread mix to dust the surface, roll out however many pizza bases you want to make. Hope that helps! Ive made the sauce but used fresh parsley and thyme with dried mix herbs and its absolutely delicious. Thanks for commenting! Leave in a warm place until the dough has risen to about double its normal size. To fix it I'd add a bit of flour, which you'd have to syn. However I have seen them say in the past that using an alternative isn't likely to harm you weight loss, for example when people have used unbranded versions of cheese instead of the ones that are official Healthy Extras. You may want to remove this to stop fellow dieters thinking they can have pizza this way, Hi Jayne, actually there are certain wholemeal bread mixes (not individual flours) which can be used as your HexB and this has been confirmed by Slimming World.
